Lourdes was born in Caracas, Venezuela. She obtained a degree in Business Administration. After college, she worked as Executive Assistant for the Vice-President of the Venezuelan Investment Fund. Later she moved to France where she lived briefly. In 1991, she relocated to Orlando and made this town her home. She worked as Administrative Assistant for Vistana and for the Grosvenor Resort. In 1997, she started an “On Call” Concierge position at the Renaissance Orlando Resort, where she worked with two of the founder members of the CFCA, then President and Vice-President. This is when she fell in love with the hospitality industry and decided to become a full time Concierge. During this time she served as the Secretary for the Association. In 2000, Lourdes joined the Concierge team at the Villas of Grand Cypress.

After working as a Real Estate Broker in Hilton Head, she returned to Orlando in 2012 and to her newly renovated Concierge Desk at the Villas of Grand Cypress and joined again the CFCA, this time serving as Membership Director. Lourdes loves to cook, entertain, make people happy and comfortable. That’s why the Concierge position was tailor made for her. She considers the CFCA as an organization that helps its members grow professionally and offers the best networking platform for the hospitality business in Central Florida. Lourdes is a wife, a mother and this year a proud grandmother.

John began his hospitality career with Marriott hotels in Jacksonville. After relocating to Tampa he was hired as Concierge at the Tampa Marriott Waterside Hotel and later worked as Concierge at the Renaissance Vinoy Resort and Golf Club and became the Guest Services Supervisor and Chef Concierge at the Renaissance Tampa Hotel International Plaza. Starting summer of 2015, John joined the opening team of the five diamond awarded Four Seasons Resort Orlando. John is also a proud member of Les Clefs d'Or, which is an international symbol of guaranteed quality Concierge service.

Born in Bilbao, Spain Nekane moved to London after high school. She worked for the International Sporting Club and was part of the opening team for The Dorchester Club. She travelled within Europe and the Middle East and in 1992 she moved to New York City, making Manhattan her home for 5 years. Later, Nekane settled in Orlando where she worked as guest services agent, familiarizing herself with The City Beautiful plethora of culture and attractions. In 2000, Nekane joined the concierge team of the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin where she worked her magic for the next seven years. After a three year hiatus Nekane returned to the hospitality industry as a concierge at the Hilton Bonnet Creek resort, knowing that her passion for helping others was still there. Soon after, she was graciously nominated by her employers for the CFHLA Grand Pineapple awards.

Born in Oakland, California Debra moved to Florida when she was one-year old. Having lived in a couple of different Florida towns, Debra decided to call Orlando home in 1994. She has spent her career working in various areas of the Communications field with a passion for the Hospitality industry. Debra is currently the Circulation and Marketing Manager at Where Orlando

Debra enjoys giving back to the community through her volunteer work. For the past two years, she has been an active member of the LBV chapter of Relay for Life, acting as Event Chair and Team Development Chair as well as a member of the Lake Buena Vista Rotary and CFHLA. She is now looking forward to the excitement and honor of becoming an Associate Member of the Board of Directors.

Keith came to Central Florida 30 years ago and started working in the hospitality industry working in many different capacities. In ’93 he was at Medieval Times working in sales and marketing when they had the biggest growth in their history. Later he took on the role as Sales and Marketing director at Pirates Dinner Adventure and was instrumental for their growth for 13 years.

The past 8 years he served on the boards of the Florida Attractions Association, MPI and HSMAI of Central Florida and currently serves on the Industry Relations Committee for Visit Florida.

Keith is passionate about Florida tourism and currently runs Florida HIA (Hospitality Industry Association) a program that provides benefits for the hospitality industry workers.

Kristina was born and raised in the cozy beach town of New Smyrna Beach, Florida where she quickly fell in love with the hospitality industry. She obtained a degree in Hospitality Management from University of Central Florida’s Rosen College of Hospitality. She is a true theme park junkie and enjoys all aspects of the travel and tourism industry.

As a member of the CFCA since 2009, Kristina is proud to serve on the Board of Directors as an Associate Member. For the last eight years, Kristina has worked for Universal Orlando where she developed and implemented sales programs for Blue Man Group throughout different markets including hospitality and group sales.

Blue Man Group is comedy, theater, rock concert and unforgettable dance party all rolled into one. Don’t miss the show that has captivated 35 million people worldwide. DARE TO LIVE IN FULL COLOR.

Leo was born in Winter Haven Florida and after grade/high school then College, decided to make Orlando his home. Leo’s career really started to unfold in 1982 with the City of Orlando in the Purchasing Department. He has accomplished different career positions since then from K-mart Manager, PE/Math Teacher, Group Selling Service Manager for Burdines/Macys, and a Buyer for Tommy Hilfiger. For the last 18 years, Leo has found his present career level at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort. With numerous awards, recognitions and offices under his belt, his most recent appointment of offices are the Chairman of Visit Orlando Partner Relations Committee and Associate Board Member of CFCA. His motto is “I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me”.

Allison was born and raised in Winter Garden, FL.  and spent time in the US Navy and had the opportunity to live all over the U.S. She has worked for Disney in the 80’s,  90’s and millennium. Allison also has experience working for Universal resorts along with many major hotels in the Central Florida  area. Allison now works at the Concierge desk at the beautiful Walt Disney World Sawn & Dolphin Resort along with being a student at UCF Rosen College of Hospitality majoring in Event Management and Mass Communications.  She has a passion for helping people and is involved with several charities including Dave’s House and Wounded Warrior Project.

Carolyn Moncada

More than two decades working in the hospitality industry, Carolyn Moncada began her career as a travel agent in Coral Gables, Florida and then continued work with Carnival Cruise Lines both at the Port of Miami and on board the cruise ships.

After a few years with Carnival Cruise Lines, she began working at the Sonesta Beach Resort in Key Biscayne, Florida in various positions from front desk to Assistant Hotel Manager.

Carolyn then married longtime high school friend,  Julio Moncada and moved to Orlando, Florida where she began working with Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville.

After a few years they moved to San Diego, California working with the Hard Rock Cafe International.

They then moved back to Orlando, Florida where she began working  with the Grand Bohemian in Downtown Orlando.

It was at the Grand Bohemian where she first found her passion of working as a Concierge. She became an active member of the Central Florida Concierge Association and then joined the Board of Directors as Membership Director, Vice President and President and the member of Les Clefs d'Or.

Her career continued working as a concierge opening hotels such as Hilton Orlando, Parc Soleil with Hilton Grand Vacation Club, Hilton Bonnet Creek and finally Waldorf Astoria in Lake Buena Vista.

Carolyn and her husband currently own and manage Starfish Marketing representing local restaurants, small attractions and amazing venues such as The Mall at Millenia.

Their team prides themselves in educating hotel concierge and other front-of-the-house staff about what their partners have to offer their visiting hotel guests.

Carolyn is very thankful that she can continue to act as a liaison between her partners and the local concierge as well as serve on the Board of Directors of the Central Florida Concierge Association.
